Ukrainian Relief Effort

As many of you know, in May I went over to Poland last month to work with a great organization, cooking meals for refugees on the Polish Ukrainian border. I’m so grateful that I have the opportunity to return…. Leaving  tomorrow for a longer stretch. 

After spending some time in Przemysl, I met so many good people, doing good work in Ukraine to help. Of course there is the food element, but in addition there are amazing people and grass roots organizations helping with transportation, shelter, animal care and rescue, clothing, medical supplies, everything you can imagine. 

Many of you have been asking me in the past few months.. how you can help? I didn’t want to give an answer before my time in the region, so that I could get a more accurate idea of the best way to help more directly. This is why I’m posting the fundraiser now. 

To be transparent, my travel expenses and living expenses are all covered. My goal is to raise money so that I can get money into the hands of those that need it, whether it be individuals or worthy grass roots organizations.
