On September 24, 2018, David's wife Viki took him to the emergency room in terrible pain . After a 3-day hospital stay and numerous biopsies, scans and tests, he was told on October 3 that he had Stage IV Adenocarcinoma of the esophagus and liver. Having seen what Lucinda Dave's first wife had gone through (the chemotherapy wrecked her body and did nothing to help her at all), David decided he would not go through chemotherapy or radiation. So began the journey of finding alternative ways to heal. David and Viki are seeking help from Dr. John Forsythe of the Century Wellness Clinic in Reno, Nevada. Dr. Forsythe is an oncologist and homeopath. After flying out for an initial appointment and blood tests, David will have to go back for a 3- to 6-week stay for treatment. Payment to the clinic is expected when treatment starts and is expected to be around $30K, and that just covers treatment. Travel, meals and lodging need to be met, as well. Insurance may cover a small portion of the treatment expenses, but that's a long way down the road.
