Lola has been Courtney’s best friend and therapy mare for about 15 years. She has helped Courtney through a lot in her life. It was Courtney’s turn to do the same. Lola wasn't acting herself, so we took her to the vet. She had colic and was placed on fluids and pain meds. After almost a week of care at the vet, she was doing better, but then took a turn for the worse. On Wednesday night, she hit rock bottom. Courtney lost her best friend and a piece of her heart. We are asking for some help to recoup what Courtney has spent in vet bills to give Lola a fighting chance. Anything helps as Courtney is fresh out of school and just starting to work again.
