Alyssa's Fight-Against-Cancer Fund

Dear family, friends and extended community of Alyssa Rose Miller:

 

My name is Brenna Frady and I am Alyssa Miller's aunt. 

Many of you may already know that our sweet gal is going through a tough time battling cancer. For those of you who may not know, she was recently diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer with a large tumor on the outside of her cervix. The oncologist said the tumor is inoperable, and she could die if they tried to remove it surgically.

 

Alyssa is a young, vibrant, woman just barely in her 30’s and she has her whole life in front of her. Obviously, receiving this sudden diagnosis was a traumatic shock.

 

The treatment Alyssa is going through is extensive. Her treatment began with a major surgery to prepare her body for the treatment plan. She is going through rounds of both radiation and chemotherapy. After radiation and chemo, she will have another treatment aiming to melt the inoperable tumor.

 

This is not the kind of life event someone can plan for, nor should they have to. This GoFundMe page is being set-up to help raise financial assistance for Alyssa and Jeff (her husband) as they navigate this heartbreaking journey.

 

Cancer treatments are expensive and there are always unforeseen costs that can’t be predicted. While insurance covers some of this burden, it most certainly does not cover all of it. In raising these funds, the goal is to lighten the financial toll so they are not forced to drain their life savings on medical expenses.

 

The need is urgent as she is actively undergoing chemo/radiation. Please consider helping our dear Alyssa. Even 5 dollars goes a long way.

 

Alyssa is a beautiful soul and one tough lady. She has overcome so much in her life. She loves deeply and lives fully. Her husband, Jeff, is and has been a rock for her and he is also going to need support as he walks with his wife through this. Cancer is tough on spouses as well. Let’s surround them with love, support, strength and encouragement as Alyssa goes through one of the harshest challenges in her life.

The funds raised are intended for both medical and living expenses, based on their needs.

FYI: While I am acting as a coordinator in setting up Alyssa's GoFundMe campaign and helping manage the page, I will not receive any of the funds. 100% of what is raised will go to Alyssa and Jeff for medical and living expenses while going through her cancer treatments. Jeff Miller will personally manage any funds raised.
