Sabeerah’s New Wheels!

Sabeerah is one of my closest & dearest friends. She was born with spina bifida, and despite the physical challenges, she’s always smiled in face of her adversities. She’s a talented, resilient and beautiful young woman with a heart of gold. Last week during a FaceTime call she was telling me about her power chair constantly going out, and today she was told the motor in said chair has given out. Her insurance is giving her the run-around and making her getting a new means of transportation close to impossible. She’s a full time on campus student at UC Santa Cruz, and unlike most students whom can walk to their classes she has to use her power chair, but considering the fact that the chair she has is out of service, her being mobile isn’t exactly the easiest at the moment. Sabeerah relies on her chair not only for transportation, but for living & security, her wheels second as her legs and feet! I ask that you donate anything, for no amount is too small. She deserves to be able to not only get to class, but to live as normally as we do! I asked her what chair she needed because she deserves the best there is & i believe that her story is special and i know that God helps those whom help themselves, truth be told she helps everyone. She told me about a wheelchair called Whill Model Ci by Whill. A portable powerwheelchair/mobility device. The price listed is about $4,000. I cant keep track of the times she’s made sure i got to work, or just had a meal! She’s an angel on wheels & i pray that you all see the light she is.
