Help Sean Fight Critical Heart Disease -LVAD Surgery
Our family and our SeanStrong team are reaching out in hopes you will kindly consider helping the Sean Lozano Family during an urgent time of need. (Sean, Kasey, Lauren, and Sam)

Sean and Kasey have been married only a short year and a half.  Within weeks of their nuptials, Sean was diagnosed with a combination of life-threatening heart conditions that have progressed to the point that he is now in need of a heart transplant.

March 2019, Sean was implanted with a pace maker/defibrillator in hopes this would regulate his heart and improve his quality of life.  Doctors have confirmed this procedure did not work and has not helped Sean. His heart has continued to deteriorate and in an effort to sustain him until the right heart becomes available, he will be undergoing a procedure on or about August 21 to receive an LVAD. (A Left Ventricular Assist Device)
LVAD is a mechanical pump that is implanted in a person’s chest to help a weakened heart pump blood. Unlike a total artificial heart, the LVAD doesn’t replace the heart. It just helps it do its job. LVADs are often called a “bridge to a transplant”

Life as Sean knew it has taken a complete turn. He is a very hard working man who had a very physically demanding career. Sean prides himself on working hard to provide and care for his family. He has not been allowed to work for a year now. Sean also is very health conscious and up until he was deemed disabled, was extremely active in the body sculpting, training, and nutrition. Although he himself is no longer to participate in his favorite activities, he continues to help others with nutrition plans and encouragement in their endeavors to become healthier. This past year and a half have been very tough on Sean and Kasey and super tough on the young kids. Lauren, and Sam are great and try to be as helpful as possible. Seeing your dad just not feeling well and unable to be as active as he used to is so scary for a child. The financial toll has been felt as well.

Funds raised during this campaign will immediately go towards assistance with lodging for Kasey (and the kids) during the 2-3 weeks Sean will be hospitalized at Cedar Sinai, and then towards the ever growing medical expenses and to help supplement loss of income that now Kasey will also incur, as she cares for Sean during his recovery and rehabilitation.

As you can imagine, the costs will well exceed what we are trying to raise, but we are grateful for any amount of financial assistance you are able to provide.

Please feel free to share this link in anyway to maximize our efforts.

Through all of this Sean and Kasey are completely overwhelmed with the amount of love and support they have received through this time. All of your thoughts and prayers are being felt and make a difference.

Thank you
