One of the things I'm most proud of about Arco Cafe is the quality and consistency of the food and the service we provide. That is largely due to our kitchen and floor staff who do food prep and cooking and serve it to you.

You don't know them. But I will attest that they are hardworking, reliable, honest and kind. They care and are proud of the work they do to feed you well. 

In six years, we've had very little turnover (unheard of in the restaurant business). Our team gives their all seven days a week. 

I use the present tense even though we are closed right now, because we will be back. Hopefully our kitchen staff will be too -- although their situations are precarious. 

Right now they are eating, because Arco has a fair amount of food in storage. This month they can pay the rent. But beyond that, it's unclear how they will survive. 

Some  of our "Friends of Arco" are donating already to each of our staff. If you are able, could you contribute to them as well? 

You may ask, why Arco is not remaining open for pickup and delivery. Honestly, we don't think there is enough demand to break even. The expenses, including food and labor, would be greater than what we could earn. 

So, for now, all of us are idle. We don't want to be.
