I was diagonosed with Scoliosis June 2012 at a routine check up. My mom found the site Curvy Girls Scoliosis and I became a group leader for Surprise, AZ. The Curvy Girls group is having a convention at the end of June in New York and I would love to attend so that I can meet girls just like me, ones who have had surgery already and ones that wear a brace to help stop the curve from progressing. While at the convention I will get the chance to go to many different workshops that will help me build my self esteem and teach me how to become a great leader for my own group here at home. I really would appriciate any help I can get towards raising funds that I need to make this trip a reality.
