At 1am in the morning on Dec. 22nd a tree fell on the power line of the house pulling the meter off the house causing my parents home to burn down. Thankfully my mother was still awake and got my dad up in time to get themselves and their dog Bailey out before the whole house went up in flames. They didn't have time to save anything else. The local sheriff was kind enough to get them into a local hotel and some neighbors gave them some blankets and a few clothing items. I drove up to get their Bailey to bring her home with me while they try to take care of things with fire marshall and sift thru ashes to see if they could find anything. The next morning Bailey, their St Benarnd, passed away from toxin poisoning from the smoke. As if the fire and loss of everything wasn't enough, now to lose your pet you love dearly. They didn't have renters insurance, so they have nothing left. All the memories, photos, family heirlooms, documents, can never be replaced. So I am asking for help to ease the financial stress. They are on a limited income of social security, and cannot afford to replace everything. I appreciate everyone who donates and shares this.
