Hi, my name is Jessi and I've been diagnosed with advanced heart

failure. My heart is only working at 15%. I am on the heart transplant list. And am awaiting another surgery called the LVAD which replaces the pumping function of my heart. I recently had a pacemaker and defibrillator placed to help with my heart rhythm. Since April 3rd I have been in hospitals. I am finally home but have weekly appointments in Iowa City and the University Hospital. I have my 3 kiddos with me and my mom and sister trying to help with my daily care and expenses. It's a long road a head of me with a very high mortality rate. Without the LVAD and heart transplant they only give me until Thanksgiving or Christmas to live. We're hanging in there and remain hopeful. Prayers are always appreciated and if you can help with costs along the way my family and I would greatly appreciate it.
