As some of you may already know, I was just diagnosed with breast cancer around my birthday and will need to undergo a mastectomy with reconstruction along with partial lymph node removal on January 27th.  I am going to be out of work.  I may need radiation and/or chemo after the surgery.  There are 3 masses that they will test once they are removed.  

My husband and I are not the type to ask for help but I do not have any family that lives close, nor can they help with any financial assistance.  My employer only offered one choice this year for healthcare and unfortunately, it is not a good plan for my circumstances and will result in higher deductibles and much more out of pocket costs. 

If you can help in any way, please know how much my husband and I appreciate it.  We are trying not to tell our daughters so they don’t worry.  We want to keep their lives as normal as possible.  Thank you for helping us along this journey.
