Hi, I'm Eric's brother, Casey!

On April 9th, My brother Eric went the emergency room for what we thought was a simple - though - alarming nosebleed. What followed was something none of us could have imagined.

Eric was quickly admitted, and doctors discovered he had a perforated bowel and was septic. Since then, he has endured SEVEN SURGERIES and continues fighting through an incredibly difficult and painful recovery. There were a couple times the doctors weren't certain if he was going to make it as he struggled for survival on a ventilator. But miraculously, after 3 weeks in ICU, he fought incredibly hard and pulled through.

Once Eric is stable enough to the leave the hospital, he will need to spend at least a month in a rehabilitation facility to regain his strength and continue healing.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease the overwhelming financial burden that Eric and our family are now facing. The medical bills are mounting daily, and with Eric unable to work during this long recovery, we're doing everything we can to support him.
