Ever since I can remember I've loved animals. My mom started to take me to farms before I could even walk. Every weekend I would go to these farms to feed the animals and of course, ride the horses. Even when i lived in Ecuador, my mom would drive an hour away just so I could get on a horse every weekend. Of course once I would get on them i didn't want to get off. My parents had to drag me of the horse as I cried. Then as I got older I started to spend my summers in Ecuador. Next to my house there was a stable. My grandma paid the owner to let me ride his horses. This is where I would learn to tack the horses, bathe them and take care of them. I would spend hours at the stable every day of the months of July and August. However, this summer, I learned to do stadium jumping. In less than a month I was able to jump 3 Feet. Since I loved this so much, my mom signed me up to Thomas School of Horsemanship. I'm currently going once a week and every holiday that I'm free I'm also part of the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) where I compete as part of my equestrian school. I also valunteeer. As you can see I love horses and it's only natural that I should have my own horse. I would love to be able to visit my horse and ride him whenever i want. This is where you come in. Leasing a horse isn't cheap. It's about $600-$800 a month depending on the horse. So, anything will help. I'm also saving and working hard for my goal.
