Tuba lost everything in Valley Fire

Joline "Tuba" found out today she lost everything in a fire that ravaged Lake County. She had just moved to a beautiful place in Cobb Mountain after staying with me for the last year. She was so excited and felt at peace in her new surroundings and was grateful to finally move forward with her life. 

That serenity was cut short over the weekend when she had to flee with nothing but the clothes on her back and her beloved dog Lucy.

She hadn't yet obtained renters insurance as she was just getting settled. 

Tuba has lost everything she worked for in the fire. All of her clothes, photos, furniture and personal belongings.

She only receives SSI as she is disabled and has no other income.

Please help in any way you can so she can get her life back. I can't even imagine what she and the others are going through.

Tuba has been a dear friend of our family for 30 years. She lived with me in Petaluma for awhile and we helped each other until she found her "ideal" place. The main photo is of her and my son Mark.
These donations will be used to find another rental, purchase clothes, household items, personal items and furniture she lost in the fire.
