This account is setup for Chris and Tisha Ausburn. Chris was involved in a very serious car accident on Wednesday, September 9th. He was coming home from work that morning in the rain. He hit a puddle of water,which caused him to loose control and hit a embankment off LBJ. He got out to survey the damage when another car came from behind him, pinning him in between both cars. He was in critical condition at the scene, where EMS arrived and had to work him free for several minutes. They said that they had to perform CPR on him twice, because his heart had stopped. They stablized him and transported him to Presbyterian Dallas, where he remains in critical condition in ICU. The doctors had to ampute part of his leg, with the possbility that might have to ampute the other due to the injuries. He has a broken back and they placed him in a coma like state to help his body to heal. As to date (9-15), they are awaiting his fever to reduce, before they will do surgery on his back or leg. His wife of 3 years Tisha has been by his side since the accident occurred. Chris was a veteran, and he is the sole provider for their family. Tisha had just quit her job so she could go back to school to complete her degree. We are asking for donations to help offset the medical bills and financial burdens that they will have in the months to come. Please give what you can, any amount is gratifully appreciated.
