Your donations will go to support our Family FIRST (Free Individualized Review and Structured Training), Grant Program and our Sliding Rate Scale program.

Family FIRST: Family FIRST is a free service provided by the Brent Woodall Foundation for Exceptional Children in our therapeutic center in Irving, Texas. This service includes a basic skills assessment and an individualized parent training. A custom treatment plan and a written evaluation will be developed based on the assessment results. Experienced consultants will model ABA techniques shown to be effective in teaching the child’s target skills and will give parents individualized feedback. Families will also be provided with the resources and tools necessary to start teaching their child critical skills immediately. This program is open to children ages 0–12.

Grant Program: Based on available funds, the BWF’s Board of Directors give small grants to children receiving therapeutic services with the BWF. These grants are designed to ease the financial burden for those families in need.

Sliding Rate Scale Program: Our Sliding Rate Scale program allows families who are paying for therapy out of pocket to access reduced rates based on need.

The mission of the Brent Woodall Foundation is to empower parents of children with autism and developmental disabilities and to encourage their involvement in their children’s therapy by providing educational training, customized academic and behavioral plans, psychological assessments, and modest financial support.
