Hello everyone, my name is Ali. I’m 23 years old and from Brooklyn, NY. I’m reaching out today with humility and hope, asking for your kindness and generosity.
I am the proud owner of two bunnies and one cat. My love for animals began at a young age when my siblings and I had turtles and fish as pets. We shared the responsibility of caring for them, taking turns and showing them love. As the years went on, that love only grew. Eventually, we fostered two beautiful sister cats until they found their forever home.
As a pet owner, their health and well-being always come first. Last night, my cat Momo was rushed to the emergency room. For the past two to three days, he had barely eaten or slept and had been vomiting. At the ER, we received the devastating news that Momo is suffering from a urinary blockage. This condition occurs when the urethra becomes clogged by crystals, mucus, or other substances, causing extreme pain, frequent litter box visits, and, most critically, it is life-threatening. Without treatment, Momo could pass away at any moment.
To buy him some time, we began baseline emergency treatment to flush his urinary tract. While this does not mean he is out of danger, it has given us a short window to schedule the necessary procedure that could save his life.
I’m asking for help because the cost of this operation is far beyond what I can afford on my own. I raised Momo from the time he fit in the palm of my hand—he is my first cat and means the world to me. The thought of leaving him in pain and agony is every pet owner’s worst nightmare.
Any contribution, no matter how small, truly makes a difference. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this and for any support you are able to give.
