My name is Lydia, this is my very good boy Lucky, and I need your help.
Recently, I've been through more than I can easily describe and - to be honestly - laying it all out would stretch credulity, so I'll stick to what's on tap right now.
I'm a transwoman (in the closet) trying to survive in Northern Indiana. I'm between jobs, my mother needs care, and a series of events I find it hard to outline, but ultimately wound up with me losing everything came into my world like a breeze.
I mean that, everything I owned prior to less than a year ago is gone. My guitars, my collections, every scrap of clothes or sentimental knickknack, all gone.
Needless to say, amid all this, it's becoming increasingly difficult trying to even stay afloat. I've depended upon support from generous benefactors and friends, and it is with humility that I must continue to do so.
To be absolutely clear, this money is going to survival; bills, groceries, gas for the car, and food and litter for that fuzzy little cutie-pie you see on the cover photo. The only end goal is to help me make it through the next year or so while I'm trying to heal from the past and grow for the future.
If you can, whatever you spare makes a difference, however small it may seem. If you can't, thank you very much for listening to my story. If you could share it around, that would help, but I just appreciate you taking the time to hear me out.
Be safe and remind those you love of what they mean to you, because you never know when your last chance to might be.
Thank you for your time, I send you love and hope!
