Celebration of Life for
Lisa Johnson

There will be a somewhat formal presentation including video and photos along with moments for the family to speak as well as anyone else that may want to speak in front of the group as a whole. It’s very possible there won’t be enough seating for everyone so we yogis should leave the seating for the elderly and/or physically challenged attendees while we all stand in tree pose. Ha! (Hope that brought you smile)
We have a fairly large parking lot and we need to park with respect in order to make room for as many cars as possible. Pull all the way to the fence under the trees so someone can park behind you if needed. (If you can carpool with others that’s always a good idea) There’s another parking section to the East of the adjoining buildings that will probably be of use too. If not, it will be marked off in some way. You can also park along the street on the grass between the small curb and the fence surrounding front of the studio.
After the first hour is completed there will be an offering of light food and drink. Live music to accompany our socializing as we all tell stories and memories of our times with Lisa.
If you’d like to bring food or anything else, you are welcome to do so. Honestly, what we really want everyone to bring, is yourselves. Lisa will be so proud of all of us.
We are looking forward to seeing all of you there. It’s been a long time since most of us have seen one another.
See ya Saturday starting at 2:00.

It is with extreme sadness that I bring you this news. We lost the most talented Iyengar Instructor today. Sunday September 5, 2021. Lisa didn’t go down without a fight though. We knew she was a tough cookie but she was stronger than I ever realized. In the end cancer won and we lost. Personally, my world will never be the same without my wonderful friend Lisa. My heart goes out to everyone she touched, especially her husband Todd and their families.
Now the really tough road to recovery starts. Beginning with huge hospital bills and mending broken hearts. Please help with your generous donation so Lisa’s husband can begin his healing without the extreme debt that the pandemic started and medical expenses ended. I will never forget you Lisa! Love ya mean it for ever and ever.
