APOLLO UPDATE

Today we received a voicemail from the vet..His bloodwork came back all NORMAL! He is a healthy boy! He was having a little bit of belly issues. We went and picked up his meds today! While at the vet today, I asked what the low and high meant of the estimate of his eye surgery and neuter. What it means is the surgery can cost as low as $1,567.86 or as high as $1,942.86. Remember I said that his lower eyes need to be done and a good chance his top lashes as well. Basically it won’t be any less or any higher!

WE ARE OVER THE HALF WAY PRICE POINT AND APOLLO WILL HAVE PERFECT VISION AND NO MORE PAIN!

THIS WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT ALL WHO HAVE DONATED OR SHARED HIS STORY!

We currently have $715 in his gofundme account, he has a credit at the vet $113.21 (his meds were $25 and change and you will see on the shared invoice) he has $265 promise donation that will be given the day of surgery. THAT’S A TOTAL OF $1093.21. WE ARE A LITTLE MORE THAN HALF WAY THERE!

How can you help Apollo? Your donation towards his surgery OR share! Every share is just as important.

AS SOON AS WE HAVE RAISED ENOUGH MONEY, HE WILL BE SCHEDULED FOR THE SURGERY!

Should his surgery be less than the high estimate, WE WOULD LIKE TO DONATE THE MONEY TO ANOTHER PUP WHO MAY BE SUFFERING! I believe that one hand washes another so if we can help another pet, we do it!

We have been completely transparent since I took Apollo into my home. I have shared all receipts, invoices, you can see the gofundme and we can only go off the persons word about the promised money.

HERE COMES THE BEST NEWS YET….WE HAVE A POTENTIAL FOREVER HOME FOR APOLLO AND WE CAN NOT WAIT TO MEET THEM! i
If you may be thinking about adopting Apollo, please reach out to Tabitha or myself (just in case his home visit doesn’t work out) He will soon be pain free, living in his forever home and finally be able to love his person. The next phase of this is going to be hard for Tabatha and I because we know we will have to say goodbye to a baby we have grown to love!

THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!
❌APOLLO UPDATE!

Thanks to VERY GENEROUS DONOR, Apollo was able to go to his vet visit! I will share all the information that was done! He received all of his shots! He had his bloodwork done and he is read for surgery.

❌unfortunately Apollo needs surgery on his eyes, mainly the lower lashes but they will do the top as well because they do see some lashes up there that are going in, so just fix it now❌THIS WILL BE A ONE TIME SURGERY!

❌In this post you will see all that was done and also the estimates for his eyes and to be neutered! I am not ashamed to admit that I can not afford to do this surgery on my own!

❌We will be updating the amount we need on the gofundme in hopes to get enough money to make this happen. He currently has $138.42 on his account and we have a promised $265 to go towards his surgery.

❌❌ EVERY PENNY COUNTS❌❌
I know not everyone is in the position to help! SHARING AS MUCH AS POSSIBLY IS JUST AS IMPORTANT! The more people who see this the better for him!

❌Let me tell you about Apollo and his visit! He went in, barked at some dogs because he wanted to play. When he realized they didn’t want to play with him, he laid by me. We were called back to the room, they Tech got him on the scale..he weighs 63 pounds! He was loving on her! She went out and we waited our turn. He sniffed a little and again laid by my feet. The doctor and the tech came in to give him his shots and do the bloodwork. When they walked in the had a muzzle! I knew they wouldn’t have to use it but I didn’t say anything. The doctor walked over and he was completely fine, licked her hand. It came time to take the blood. I was by his head, hugging and rubbing him. The tech was by his chest, hugging him and petting him. The doctor put the needle in and he didn’t even flinch! The doctor gave him his shots and again he didn’t move. The specialist had to see him and they contemplated having her come in the room or walk him back with all the other dogs. They said he was good enough to go to the back! They said he was so good! You can call to verify all of this.

❌He is supposed to go and meet a family this Saturday to see if he is fit for a forever home. Although we have had people interested in meeting him they either cancelled or didn’t show up. SO I AM STILL LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME FOR HIM! I really just need some options for him!

❌❌PLEASE REMEMBER EVERY PENNY COUNTS AND IS SO APPRECIATED! Whoever is going to be his person so love will have a up to date on his shots, eyes fixed and a neutered boy❌❌

Thank you so much everyone for loving this boy like we do! It means so much to us

Help Apollo Get the Care He Deserves

Meet Apollo — a sweet, resilient pup who has already been through so much. His original owner was living out of a car and struggling to meet even his own basic needs. Sadly, Apollo suffered as well, growing increasingly stressed and not eating.

Now safe in temporary care, Apollo is the most gentle baby, he truly just wants his person, he wants to be loved! We believe Apollo still faces a serious medical issue.
We believe he has a painful condition called entropion — where his eyelashes grow inward, scratching his eyes. If left untreated, it can lead to permanent damage or even blindness.

We will know EXACT DIAGNOSIS on Wednesday and we will update as soon as the visit is over. I’ll take some pictures while we are there!

There was a gofundme made for him that would cover his vet visit along with his shots but the person in charge of it does not want to release funds to our vet. She would prefer we use a place that she uses but it’s almost 2 hours away!

Apollo urgently needs a vet visit and likely surgery to relieve his pain and preserve his vision. We're raising funds to cover his exam, treatment, and any follow-up care he may need to get healthy and ready for a loving forever home.

Every donation — big or small — helps give Apollo the second chance he so deeply deserves. Please consider contributing and sharing his story. Let’s get Apollo the care he needs and the family he’s been waiting for.

We are hoping to get enough raised for his visit on Wednesday the 30th at 11:15. The cost of this visit should be $400. This will be a well visit and all his shots, bloodwork , heart worm testing and flea and tick medicine

At that visit we will have a clear understanding of what will be next with his eyes!

We would prefer all donations go straight to the vet-

The office is aware that people may be calling in for Apollo.

If you prefer to make a donation here through gofundme, Venmo, ect..
WE WILL BE POSTING EVERY VET BILL AND EVERY PENNY THAT WENT TOWARDS APOLLO!

WE appreciate it more than we can express with words!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
