Hi, I'm Lachlan Bassett , I'm 16 years and a junior slalom paddler who has been selected by Australian Canoeing to represent Australia at the 2016 ICF Junior World Championships in Krakow, Poland in June/July. It is an amazing opportunity, that I feel very proud of.
Recently I came 2nd at the Australian Open in the U18 C1 and 3rd at the Australian Nationals in the U18 C1.
I train daily, in the hope to one day make the Australian Senior Team and to go even further with my paddling career.
All the money raised will go directly to travel expenses and equipment needed for my training and racing. This year I will need to travel to New Zealand, New South Wales (multiple times), Tasmania and then a month in Europe for the Championships.
I really appreciate any support you may be able to give and will keep you up to date with my progress
