Support Erica's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Let me tell you a little story about a friend of mine. She’s a teacher, a wife, and a mom. She’s passionate about kids, music, God, and life. Her name is Erica and I’ve been proud to call her a friend for the last 9 years or so, but that’s not why I’m asking for help.

Erica is battling breast cancer - and battling she is! She’s going to win this fight, but she needs our help. Going through everything cancer-related is hard, but when your savings have been depleted by medical bills so you continue to work even though you’re exhausted, you just need a hand.

Erica, her husband Kurt, and their kid, a high school senior named Alex, are too proud to ask for help, so I asked her today if I can open a GoFundMe on her behalf.

Friends, Erica’s a fighter. She’s tough as nails and she’s going to beat cancer, but the financial worries sap energy from this incredible woman. My goal is to raise enough money so that, when she is finished kicking cancer’s butt, all her medical expenses will be taken care of and she can get back to life.
