Safe House in Oakland

Hi everyone. Early Saturday morning on August 19th my sister was the victim of gang violence. A bullet went through her bedroom wall and headboard hitting her in the head while she slept. Miraculously the bullet was deflected and my sister survived. Although she is physically sound, mentally and emotionally she has been shaken to her core. She is a homeowner and needs financial assistance to make her home feel safe again. We are asking for your help to build an iron fence, reinforce the walls, and install impact-resistant windows/doors in the house that she lives in with her family. Any amount helps. Please help us to return her to her home with a renewed sense of safety.

Update: We need $6,131 to purchase the ballistic wall panels for Nicole's home. Once these panels are installed she will be able to return home and begin the journey and work of feeling safe in her home. Please help us order these panels by September 8th.
