Graduating on Time
Donation protected
Hi everyone! If you’re reading this you know who I am. If not, my name is Atalaya Watts, I’m a graduating senior at Wesleyan College majoring in education. Currently, I face financial burdens that may jeopardize my chances of graduating with my best of friends, and most importantly, after all the hard work I’ve put in here.
I’m an intern teacher, first grade. I love what I do, I love the children I teach as well. I recently took my GACE, which is a certification test that students in an education/teaching preparation program take before graduating (or sometimes after) to become fully certified teachers. I get my other set of results on 4/29/22, which I’ll update everyone on that!
I’d honestly hate for that to go to waste because of money, I’ve worked so hard for my degree. This degree is dedicated to all of my siblings, but especially the two who have seen me work endlessly: Michaela and Malichai. This degree is also dedicated to my late aunt, DeOnte “DeDe” Harris, who I know would want this for me more than myself. I also give thanks to God who has gotten me this far. It’s only by His grace and mercy that I’ve done four years of school, got the career of my dreams, and still holding on.
Anything can help, whether it’s sharing this, or giving a dollar. I’m thankful for it all. Thanks for reading, as that’s a blessing in itself.
