Give this Stray(now my cat)Cat a Second Chance at Life

Donation protected

I've been feeding this super friendly stray cat who has been coming to my door for months. He comes like clockwork at 5:30 am, meowing his raspy meow. He came Monday evening (3/4/2025) limping horribly. I took him immediately to the emergency animal hospital. His prognosis was a shattered tibia and fibula (shin bones). He required surgery with a rod and screw to repair his leg.

Two days after returning home, he had a urinary blockage. Poor boy was sitting in the litter box and couldn't pee. He had blood clots in his bladder. The full cost of medical bills thus far is $7500, but now he is also anemic (low blood iron) and they want to give a blood transfusion.

I want to keep this kitty and give him a loving home, but I simply can't afford these medical costs. I need help. I feel weak asking for help. The hardest part is admitting I'm powerless now that my bank account is empty and all credit cards are maxed out. I hope I'm fortunate enough to reach and surpass my goal to cover medical expenses. I would like to take anything that is over the amount needed to donate to the next person in the ER that is in the same position that I'm in. Thank you in advance, any help is appreciated.
