Freddy and Donovan GoFundMe

While I have been reluctant to do so, many people have asked about a GoFundMe for Freddy and Donovan, and I am humbled by their request to support these sweet boys.

For those who don't know, my daughter and their mother - Brittany - died suddenly of a pulmonary embolism on August 14, 2022. We are heartbroken by this devastating loss, and even more so knowing Freddy (8) and Donovan (nearly 7) will now walk through life with their mom in their hearts rather than by their sides.

Brittany was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when she was 22. She received a bone marrow transplant on June 21, 2022, hoping it would stop the progression of this disease and possibly regain functions she'd lost. During this time, her husband, Allen, focused his time and energy on physically supporting Brittany and the boys. As he returns his attention to work, the funds raised will support the family's day-to-day needs, counseling for the boys, and childcare as needed.

Thank you for thinking of Freddy and Donovan. Brittany was a beautiful, smart, outgoing, accepting and optimistic person - even a small donation to her boys will help her memory and legacy live on.
