Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out to ask for support for my wife, Alexsaida—though everyone knows her as Alex.
Alex is 27 years old, a flight attendant, and the kind of person who can make you laugh at the most random, “stupid” jokes when you need it most. She’s always been full of life, constantly on the go, and the type of person who finds joy in the little things—whether that’s crocheting, singing, or just finding ways to distract herself and make others smile.
Last month, our world changed.
Alex was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma after doctors found multiple swollen lymph nodes in her neck and a mass in her chest. We are still in the process of determining the exact stage, but we know one thing for sure—she has a fight ahead of her.
Next month, Alex will begin chemotherapy along with the process of egg freezing, which has been both physically and emotionally overwhelming. Like anyone facing something like this, she’s scared—but in true Alex fashion, she’s choosing to face it head-on. She’s even sharing her journey openly on TikTok (@alexsaidalarice), hoping to stay strong and maybe help others feel less alone.
Because of treatment, Alex will have to step away from work, and that comes with financial challenges. We’re asking for help to cover everyday expenses like car payments and basic living costs while she focuses on getting through this.
If you’re able to donate, share, or even just follow her journey and send encouragement, it truly means everything to us.
Alex is strong, but she shouldn’t have to do this alone.
Thank you for being part of her support system
