HELP for CHLOE

Dear Family and Friends,

I hope this letter finds you well. As many of you know, my younger brother tragically left this world six years ago, and not a day goes by that I don’t think about him. His memory is a guiding light, and it is in that spirit that I reach out to you today.

For over a decade, we have been committed to supporting his family through their ups and downs while living in South Side Chicago. We've provided not only financial assistance but also counseling for his four daughters and support for their adoptive parents. However, we were devastated to learn that, following my brother's death, their biological mother and step bothers had been abusing them in ways that are too painful to recount. They have been serving a jail sentence for over 2 years now. A caseworker with over 20 years of experience in the area described the abuse as the worst she has witnessed in her career.

Fortunately, these brave girls have found a loving home with a wonderful couple who live outside the big city and were very close to my brother. Their dedication has been a remarkable blessing, and I am incredibly proud to share that all of the girls are now on the honor roll at school. Despite the trauma they have endured, we are beginning to see a ray of hope.

However, there is still a significant challenge ahead. Chloe, now 22, has been diagnosed with serious mental health conditions that require long-term care to ensure her safety and the well-being of her younger sisters. While insurance will cover a majority of the expenses, we are still faced with a shortfall of approximately $20,000 to secure the treatment she desperately needs.

To ensure transparency and direct impact, all donations will be connected directly to the family’s bank account. This way, you can have peace of mind knowing that your contributions will go straight to the support that Chloe and her sisters need.

We are committed to continuing our support for this family, but we also need your help. I am reaching out to you, my dear friends and family, to join us in doing the right thing for Chloe. Your contributions, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in her life and the lives of her sisters.

If you feel moved to help, please consider making a donation or sharing this message with others who may be able to assist. Together, we can provide Chloe with the opportunity for healing and a brighter future.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and for your continued love and support. Let us honor my brother’s memory by helping these girls find their way to safety and happiness.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Bernard and Molly
