Anti- Gun Violence comic book

All too often, we hear about a child or an adult falling victim to a stray bullet. So far, in 2016 alone, hundreds of children have been shot playing on a playground, in their own homes, and in other situations.

My name is Rob Taylor. I'm a writer, artist, and veteran of the comic book industry.  I am working on a comic book that addresses the topic of gun violence in America. The comic book features the character Night Jak,  a new African-American superhero I created whose base of operations is in Chicago, where the initial story takes place.

Night Jak is on a mission to take down an illegal arms dealer, who is flooding the streets of Chicago with guns, which are falling into the hands of kids and gangs. Night Jak races to get a handle on this problem before it’s far beyond his control to stop. The story also touches on real life events involving gun violence. That's where YOU come in.

To bring this comic book to life, we need your help. By donating funds for the “Night Jak” anti-gun violence comic book, you will be helping to spread a positive message through a medium which has become mainstream through the success of films and television shows such as “The Walking Dead” and “The Avengers”.

The goal of this campaign is to have the comic book available for distribution to schools, colleges, coffee shops, retail book stores, various additional locations across the country, and online.

As gun violence rises, everything and anything must be done to help put a stop to this sickening trend.

So please donate what you can today. Together we can all try to wipe out the epidemic of gun violence that's destroying our way of life.

Thank you.
