Dan Needs Your Help

Hi, my name is Naima, I am Danny Nicholson’s daughter. About a year and a half ago dad was diagnosed with cancer for the second time in his life - this time in his kidney and in his bone.

He has worked really hard with his care team to keep the cancer at bay, and the treatment has been rough. A few weeks ago he had a turn in his condition and he decided, with my stepmom’s support, that it was time to stop the treatment.

Dad has been under care of hospice at home for a couple weeks now, and it is his desire to go to the Hospice House for his last couple weeks. He will be close to round the clock care, family can stay the night with him, and he will have access to more services that will aid in his comfort.

At this time the cost of hospice house care is outside of the budget, and the family needs help. One week of care at the hospice house will cost just over $1500. The hope is that he wouldn’t need hospice care for more than a couple weeks, but you just never know.

Anything financial help we get will go directly to my stepmom, Liz Nicholson, and will go to pay for Hospice services. Any money left over will go to help pay left over medical bills.
