This is Luna. We adopted her in 2018, and she is the sweetest baby girl in the world! She loves with all her might, and coming home to her every day is one the great pleasures in life. Unfortunately though, she has recently had a number of costly injuries, and we cannot afford the surgery on our own. She had a hematoma in her right ear that ended up costing us almost $800 that we simply did not have. We had to take out a loan to pay for it. She also had been limping, so we asked them to check her out while she was under for the surgery, and it turns out she has torn her CCL (the k9 equivalent to an ACL). We were told that it would cost $3,000 for the surgery and they won't even do the surgery until we have $1,500 up front. We were heartbroken to hear the news. Please, even if it's only 1 or 2 dollars, we would be so beyond grateful for any and all help. And if you simply don't have the means to donate we completely understand, but you can still help by sharing this with all of your friends and family. Many dogs end up tearing their other CCL in less than 2 years due to having to compensate with their strong leg, so we want to get this surgery done as soon as possible to get her onto the road to recovery. Thank you for taking the time to read and helping in whatever way you can.
