I am Durward Craig, Sr. I first met Rodney Abram when we were college students in the late 1980's. We have grown from friends to brothers by different mothers. Rodney began to experience medical issues some years ago that ultimately caused him to become a dialysis patient. Though it altered his life he still managed to run his mechanic shop, to be a great dad to his son and daughter, and to be a very kind and giving friend to everyone he knows. Even when his health is not at its best he will go out of his way to help people in need and still give discounted auto mechanic service for those who can't afford expensive repairs. It was recently discovered that he had a brain mass that had to be surgically removed, the surgery was successful and he is working to recover. Unsure of how long he will be hospitalized or how long before he is able to return to work, I am starting this fund to help with his bills and medical expenses. This means a great deal to me because he has spent his life giving to others but never asking for anything in return.
