Hi! My name is Kelli. I have known Brandi for 15+ years. She is a dedicated wife and mother of three children. At birth, her youngest son was given a 1% chance of survival. Later, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. A year ago, she tried to find age-appropriate children’s books to help her family understand these medical complexities. She couldn’t find any...so she wrote them! Her dream is to help families like hers by self-publishing 5 children’s stories she has written based on her experiences. BUT each book costs around $4000!
Can you help fund this project with a donation of $5, $10, $15 or more?
Where will your donations go?
- Self-publishing 5 children's books
- 3-4 rounds of editing per book
- Illustrations (around 32 pages per book)
- Business-related/copyright fees
NOTE: Funds that exceed project expenses will be donated as books to local families and clinics or as financial donations to Seattle Children’s Hospital.
She hopes the books will be available for purchase by Summer or early Fall 2023.
