We are reaching out in a time of unexpected hardship. Our apartment was recently flooded due to heavy rain, and we were forced to leave our home on very short notice with our three cats. While we have renters insurance, we learned that it unfortunately does not cover flood damage, leaving us in a difficult financial situation.

At the moment, we are staying in a hotel for the next 3-7 days, but we are facing additional expenses as we try to rebuild our lives. The flood has caused significant damage to our home, and we will need to replace some items, from furniture to personal belongings.
