Hello everyone - this is the second fundraiser for the detained community member who was taken and sent to the NWIPC on 5/31/25. Firstly, thank you to everyone who donated and shared the campaign. Because of your donations the family has been able to navigate a complex and oftentimes cruel detainment system. The detained community member has also been able to retain an immigration lawyer for the initial hearing of the immigration court process. That was possible because of your donations, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

In this phase of the process we are still in need of funds for the following: continued lawyer costs - representation during his trial and the necessary hours to prepare beforehand. Bond funds - to allow our neighbor to return home to his family before his trial, he has now been away from his family for over 10 days. Finally funds for commissary and calling his family and lawyer.

 These costs are essential to ensure they have access to the legal representation and resources necessary to navigate a complex and often overwhelming immigration process. Every contribution will directly support their ability to stay in a place where they have a chance at safety, and stability.

 We are sincerely and humbly asking for your support to help our neighbor in their greatest time of need. Let's do everything we can to bring them home.
