Hi, my name is Sydney Nishizaki, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of one of the most incredible people I know – my dear friend Christy.

Just a few weeks ago, Christy received a diagnosis that turned her world upside down: Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC). If you know Christy, you know she’s one of the strongest, most loving, and most selfless people out there. She's a devoted mother to two beautiful kids, Caroline and Jameson, and a friend who would drop everything to be there for the people she loves. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her.

In February, Christy found a lump and began trying to schedule a mammogram. From that moment on, it’s been a whirlwind of appointments, scans, biopsies, and, eventually, the life-altering news that she has TNBC — a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer.

She begins chemotherapy soon and will undergo multiple rounds of treatment, followed by surgery and radiation. During this time, she’ll be unable to work, and as you can imagine, the financial burden is heavy — medical bills and every day living expenses with the main focus being kicking cancer's ass!

Christy is facing the biggest fight of her life, but she is not facing it alone. She’s surrounded by an incredible army of friends and family, and we are all standing with her every step of the way.
