Staceys recovery

As some of you may know, others may not yet… one of my best friends Stacey Morey (Bagley) was in a pretty bad car accident early this morning. She hit a tree and the car was engulfed in flames. She miraculously managed to pull herself out of a burning car and crawl a short distance away. 2 men came to her rescue and assisted moving her to a safer distance from her burning car. She sustained broken ankles, broken ribs and a broken nose, and multiple bumps and bruises and lacerations. She’s already undergone 2 surgeries and will require another extensive one of her left ankle and leg once she’s able to, in order to reconstruct the bones. She currently has outer rods for support. The doctors anticipate that it will be AT LEAST 3 months until she can begin to bare ANY weight on either leg and ankle. She’s still in the hospital and we’re unsure of when she will be well enough to either come home or to move to rehab. Stacey is a single mother of 2 children and anyone that knows her knows she works 7 days a week and 2 jobs to make ends meet and to care for her children. She’s is one of the most caring, patient and giving people I’ve ever known and she’d give the shirt off her back to anyone who truly needed it. She never asks anyone for help and she never complains about working 2 jobs, 7 days a week. Unfortunately both jobs require her to be on her feet the entire time. She has an incredibly long road to recovery, and unfortunately no means of savings or extra money to keep up on medical bills that won’t be covered, rent or anything else. Hopefully at some point she will qualify for some type of disability but who knows when that will be or how much. The last thing she should have to worry about is also losing her home right now. Any amount helps or simply sharing this fundraiser or sending good vibes and prayers. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!!! ❤️
