We are continuing our fundraising efforts to support Carmen in her healing journey.

She is 1/2 way through her chemotherapy sessions but she still has a way to go.

Carmen was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. Carmen is a cherished mother, sister, daughter, and friend—a woman with a big heart, youthful spirit, and beautiful soul. Carmen resides in Nicaragua, where the economic situation is very challenging. Unfortunately, doctors have determined that she has a very aggressive type of cancer that needs immediate intervention. We are blessed to have her already signed up for a cancer treatment program, and her treatments are estimated to last at least 3 to 6 months.

We need to raise funds for Social Security Insurance, as well as for medical bills and treatments not covered by insurance. Your donations will help cover medical costs, treatments, special dietary needs, and other unexpected expenses. The sooner we can get this support in place, the better chance we have of helping Carmen overcome this challenge.

Time is of the essence as we work to ensure Carmen receives the best possible care. With her treatments, she will experience a loss in wages, which will affect her ability to cover living expenses and supporting her 11-year-old daughter.

Estamos acercándonos en un momento difícil para nuestra querida Carmen, a quien recientemente le diagnosticaron cáncer de mama en etapa 2. Carmen es una madre, hermana, hija y amiga muy querida: una mujer con un gran corazón, un espíritu joven y un alma hermosa. Carmen reside en Nicaragua, donde la situación económica es muy difícil. Desafortunadamente, los médicos han determinado que tiene un tipo de cáncer muy agresivo y necesita intervención inmediata.
