Funds Needed for Brother's Support

The title was not long enough, but on behalf of my family. I come asking for help. Okay, normally I try and keep my personal life off of Facebook, but with everything I am facing at the moment, I am breaking down all of the walls and asking for help. However before I can "get to the point" I have to tell you all from the beginning. The reason for this post is my brother. Dustin Kirby. He is by far the closest definition to a hero that I can describe. Overseas while fighting for our country, he saved many lives including fellow Marine Colin Smith, who had only a 1% chance of survival after being shot through the temple by an Iraqi Sniper on October 30th 2006.

The picture above is my brother Dustin, fellow Marine Richard Bartlett, and Colin Smith during a Thanksgiving visit November 2015.
Only for my brother to receive his own injury by an Iraqi Sniper on Christmas Day 2006. My big brother that has protected me from everything growing up, from bullies to break ups. He has been there for me through it all. For almost 10 years now, I have seen him struggle to eat, and drink, compensating for what is left by his injuries (the gunshot was through the cheeks). In the beginning when he was in Bethesda Naval Hospital, many people offered and promised so much for my family and my brother. My mother has since wrote a book about learning of my brother's diagnosis of PTSD. It is called "Just Give Me 10 Minutes" Now almost 10 years later, my brother is going to have his 33rd surgery. His last surgery was several years ago and it didn't end well. He was coding when he was trying to fall back asleep after being under for several hours. Now this procedure is going to be under the same circumstances. My mother has spent so much time since October 2015 getting everything in order for my brother to have this procedure because it was offered by someone who made the connection when he was first injured. Everything has been promised and offered along with devising a precisely detailed medical plan including 3 procedures over the course of a year. All carry risks, but the goal remains the same. They are trying to reconstruct and bring my brother as close to normalcy as possible. However today, less than 2 weeks before the next surgery. There are limited funds concerning flights or travel arrangements for my parents, younger brother and myself. When visiting New York for 5 days of consultation, we were told how crucial it was for the family to be there for "worst case scenario" and the funds would come from out of pocket or donations. If enough funds cannot be obtained for my entire family to go, then we are wanting my mother to be able to go with little to no worry. I know this post is long, but I am unsure of what routes to take. Thank you for taking the time to read, and if you are financially unable to contribute, than would appreciate prayers !! Thank you!
