Emergancy fundraiser help Irma & her father Manny

Donation protected

Irma’s father, Manuel, lost his home in the fires that raged through southern Oregon on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
Manny and his wife Otilia were happily married for 57 years, and in January of 2017 they moved together to Talent, OR so that they could live closer to Irma and her family.  Manny and Otilia did everything together and always put family first.  Soon after, Irma’s mom passed away from cancer and Manuel fell into a deep depression.  He began to fall frequently, and suffered severe injuries to his head, which resulted in emergency brain surgery.  He began having seizures and has also developed signs of dementia.

Irma has been Manuel’s primary caregiver since he started falling in 2019, sacrificing her time at home with her son and husband to help take care of her father. Irma has hired several caregivers to help her because Manuel needs 24-hour care.  Their plan is to move into a home where they can all be together and Irma can continue to look after her father.

Irma has been my friend for over 30 years, and is one of the kindest people I know.  She is always ready to help those in need.  I hope that you can now help her and her father, Manuel.

Thank you for your help and God bless you,

Bernadette & Jennifer Lentz
