Hello my name is Kimberly Alexander and my family just lost all of our personal possessions in a 5 alarm fire in Bushwick Brooklyn recently. Ive lived here for 14 years in this apartment, this is where my sons grew up and called home. Never in a million years I wouldve imagined this tragedy wouldve happened in this community, especially to me.

My apartment was adjacent to the supermarket and above the roof where the fire started. I'm grateful that my family and all of the others made it out of the buildings effected

safely, thank God no one was hurt.

The funds are used to help to keep our family stable until we are able to move to another place and replace important items that we have lost that is important to get us back on our feet. Any assistance of any amount that you can donate is greatly appreciated by myself and my family. 5.7.24 I just came from my building to see my home of 14 years go up in flames. Nothing was salvageable. The building was an old building, which was why the fire spread so fast. My emergency to go bag with my important documents, personal heirlooms, my degree/diploma and my sons memories gone. I appreciate all of the donations of every amount from the bottom of my heart. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. This is completely devastating.
