Help Us Bring My Brother Home
Life has a way of pulling families apart, but even distance can’t break the bond of love. My older brother was born on April 6, 1970, and six years ago, he moved to St. Joseph, Missouri, to be closer to his mother. It was a fresh start for him, a chance to reconnect and be with family. Sadly, after just three years, she passed away, leaving him alone in a place that was meant to bring him comfort.
Since then, he lived quietly, carrying the weight of loss on his shoulders. And now, we face another heartbreaking loss—his passing. With his departure, we are left not only with grief but also with the difficult task of bringing him home.
Our father, Sam, is preparing to travel to St. Joseph to collect my brother’s ashes and his few belongings. He will need to cover cremation costs, funeral home fees, and the travel expenses to bring him back to us, in Imperial beach; the place where he grew up. The total cost is $2,300, an amount that feels overwhelming in the midst of our sorrow.
We are reaching out to anyone who can help, no matter how small. Every donation will go directly toward ensuring my brother is laid to rest with dignity and love. If you cannot contribute financially, simply sharing our story would mean the world to us.
Thank you for your kindness, your support, and for helping us honor my brother’s memory.
