Love story fighting stage 4 cancer
If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Donna Carpenter (Inside Sales at Progressive Leasing), and her husband Brian, you are aware of a grand love story. Knowing that they were meant to be, and all the wonderful things they do for each other, gives us all hope and a great example of love.
The fact that last week Brian was diagnosed with stage 4 throat and neck cancer is a huge blow to them both, but their love for each other will be a plus in helping them kick cancer’s butt.
There is uncertainty as to whether Brian will first have surgery to remove the big throat sore and lymph nodes from his neck; or will have radiation and chemo therapy first. The couple doctors involved will be making that decision this week. Either way, he will be having surgery, radiation treatments, and get chemo therapy. This will be very trying for them both,
Aside from the already mounting medical bills; the doctors have said that Donna will need to be with him for most all these appointments; which means time off work. With these extra medical bills and less income; I am asking for your help. I am setting a tentative goal as they can only imagine at this point all that they will be facing. I hope that even in these hard times that you will help our friend. Many of us have faced the cancer monster in family and friends, and to that I say let’s help Brian and Donna in their fight.
