I’ve spent years working in reproductive justice and community health, supporting others through some of their most vulnerable moments. Recently, I was laid off, and now I find myself in a tough spot, asking for help from the same kind of community I’ve always tried to show up for.

My car broke down and needs a new transmission. Without it, I’m struggling to get my daughter to and from school and to get to job interviews. Reliable transportation is essential—not just for day-to-day parenting, but for finding a new job and regaining stability.
