Help save Maverick

Hi, my name is Carson and im starting a gofundme on behalf of my sister for her lovely 4yr old cat who suddenly fell ill. Maverick unfortunately fell ill on Friday, March 14th and had to be brought to the emergency vet. We soon found out that Maverick’s bladder was inflamed and had a full blockage and required surgery. The estimated cost of the surgery and hospital stay with medications, IV fluids and round the clock care was $5794.00. Maverick was supposed to come home by Monday, March 17th but we have recently found out that his kidney levels are elevated and he may not be able to urinate on his own without a catheter yet. This would mean Maverick will need another surgery to replace the catheter and another few days at the hospital. This could cost up to another $5200.00. We are hoping that is not the case, but we will know more by end of day Monday, March 17th 5:00pm. We are heartbroken and just want Mavi to be able to come home happy and healthy. Any sharing of Mavis story or any donations no matter how small is helpful and greatly appreciated as we understand that times are rough for everyone right now.
