65 Roses Birthday
Donation protected
As many of you already know my best friend is turning the big 6-5 on January 23 and I wanted to give her the best gift possible, and the only gift she ever asks for: a cure to Cystic Fibrosis. The only way to make that possible is by funding research for new medications, like the one I am currently on, Trikafta, which truly is a miracle drug. The number 65 is especially significant in the Cystic Fibrosis Community. The “65 Roses” story dates back to 1965 when an observant 4-year-old, hearing the name of his disease for the first time, pronounced cystic fibrosis as "65 Roses." Today, “65 Roses” is a term often used by young children with cystic fibrosis to pronounce the name of their disease.
With that being said my goal is to find 65 of her closest friends and family to help donate $65. Considering this year there are no group celebrations, or even our big Cystic Fibrosis Grand Chefs Gala I am hoping this present will forever be the best gift (until an actual cure is found of course!)
I am so grateful for everyone's love, support, and donations throughout the years and I am 100% confident there will be a cure found in my lifetime thanks to all of you!!
**Please keep this a surprise from my mom as I want to present this special gift from all of you, to her, on her special day**
