Today was an incredibly hard day. After confirming that mom was facing leukemia and Tumor Lysis Syndrome, we learned that the damage to her organs was too significant to safely begin chemotherapy.

In hopes of giving her the chance to receive treatment, the medical team provided every possible intervention to support her organs and help them recover. We spent the day administering, evaluating, and adjusting to her needs.

Unfortunately, despite all efforts, her condition continued to decline with no notable improvement, and her organs were ultimately unable to heal. Her body was telling us that she was ready to rest.

She passed peacefully and without pain, surrounded by her immediate family, at 6:03 this morning. We are heartbroken, but grateful that her passing was gentle and that she was held in so much love.

She was a constant source of love, strength, and kindness in our lives, and losing her has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

As we navigate this difficult time, we are doing our best to give her the dignified farewell she deserves. Unfortunately, the costs of final arrangements and funeral services have created a financial burden that our family is struggling to manage on our own.
