Ryan Cunningham

Hi, my name is Jimmy Owens Site Manager for Soogadin at Fort Hills. On May 15 we unfortunately learned that Ryan had passed away. Ryan was with us for a short period of time, but he was an excellent tradesman, and all of his co-workers thought very highly of him. I was talking to his mom (Cheryl) and she wrote a few words which I would like to share. " On May 13th our family was forever changed by the sudden devastating loss of Ryan Cunningham at age 43.

Ryan’s passing has left behind his two sons, parents, siblings, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers to struggle with the loss of this truly amazing man. All that knew Ryan will remember his love of family, quick wit, sense of humor, contagious grin, strong work ethic, willingness to help and amazing problem-solving skills. Ryan was so very proud of his new career up at Fort Hills with Soogadin, being a member of CLAC and all the new people he met and worked with.

As we struggle to navigate this very dark time, we appreciate the love support and kind thoughts from you all.
