Greetings folks, my name is David Ke and I am trying to raise some funds to help pay for my last semester so that I can be the first person in my family to graduate college.
After surviving years of abuse and domestic violence from my father who is a drug addict, I have struggled.
After surviving years of abuse and domestic violence from my father who is a drug addict, I have struggled.
I have spent the last few years of my life on my own supporting myself entirely as a full-time student and working 3 jobs as a runaway, and sometimes a homeless student. I've suffered from depression and still face the obstacles of living with PTSD, but have never let my upbringings bring me to a path of violence nor self destruction.
One of the few things I've learned is to recognize my upbringings and when to ask her support. I now recognize my being as an individual in this lost generation of 1st generations in America trying to uphold the expectations of being a "self made man". Truth is, I need support in anyway possible. So if you could please help out by donating or sharing this post, I would appreciate all the love that the world has to offer. Everything will go towards paying off my Bursar Bill so that I can finish my last semester at UMass.
