Hi friends and family, as many of you know my dad was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cancer in March of 2019. The tumor grew on his face which caused some deformation. Due to that, he had a feeding tube for 9 months and he also had to have a trachea to help him breathe due to the tumors growing. My dad endured so much pain in this life.My dad wasn’t perfect, as you know none of us are; but, I can tell you that my dad was working to improve his life. He reunited with the love of his life who he was buying a house with in Arizona, he worked as a dog groomer because he’s always had a big heart for animals, he worked and succeeded on strengthening his relationship with his kids and he was a very proud grandpa.
My dad was a fighter. He had remained mostly positive throughout his trials and tribulations fighting this awful illness. He continued to constantly shine light into our lives and his grand babies adored him. Unfortunately, early February of this year 2020 he was told there were no longer any treatment options for him. My dad passed away on 3•27•20 at 12:10am at only 49 years young but we take comfort in knowing that he is being embraced by our Lord and Savior.
We understand we are in a pandemic right now but we are kindly asking for donations for funeral expenses and related costs from this ordeal. My dad had no life insurance and as he had been sick he was not able to work throughout the past year and now with Covid-19 and caring for my dad, his fiancé had significant loss of income. One of his wishes is to rest back home in California. That alone is a huge expense and that’s just the beginning of the funeral process. We will continue to do all we can on our end. Any and all donations are immensely appreciated. I understand if you’re not able to donate, prayers are greatly appreciated too. All proceeds will go to body transportation, funeral, and burial service. Anything beyond that will be provided to his fiancé to help offset her falling behind on any month to month living expenses due to loss of income and or medical bills incurred in the past 12 months. Thank you all and May God bless you.
Rest In Peace Dad
